Hi, my name is Grant Washington. I am an artist from Long Beach, California. Currently I live In Atlanta. I am a 17 year old junior in high school. I am the Owner/CEO of Dope Brain Shots. The main focus of our company is changing art all together and simply making it DOPE. We have many things we incorporate in our business, such as photography, painting, spoken word and fashion. Getting all of the recognition from being a young enterprenuer, and doing so much on my own is very empowering.

 

So far in my time as an artist, I have gained plenty of exposure. January 2016 was my greatest period of time of exposure. The greatest thing that has happened so far, was having the honor of being a photographer in a global event. I was accompanied by Cliff Robinson and a few more photographers. I had the job of capturing the moment as Tommy Ward sang with the  Mays High School Choir. Thanks to Tara Dennis, Jessica Washington and of course Quincy Jones for the opportunity.  

 

      There is always a beginning to a agreat journey. The first spark of interest that lead me to my hidden craft is what created this JOURNEY.  I started painting and enjoyed the freedom of self-expression. I started taking pictures, and found myself intrigued by photography. I wrote a poem by mistake and realized I had a message I needed to share.
